Ingredients
2.5 lb bag of frozen chicken wing sections
1 12-oz bottle Frank's Red Hot Original sauce, divided
½ cup butter, divided
2 tbs. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. ground cayenne pepper, divided
2 tsp. chili powder, divided
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. oregano
Instructions
Thaw chicken wings sections.
Melt ¼ cup butter in a medium saucepan.
Add half a 12 oz bottle of hot sauce, Worcestershire, 1 tsp. cayenne, 1 tsp, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and oregano and mix together.
Bring to boil then reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
Add thawed chicken wing sections to crock-pot.
Pour sauce over wings and mix with a wooden spoon to coat.
Cook on high for two hours then low for another two hours
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In the same saucepan melt the other ¼ cup of butter.
Add the rest of the hot sauce and the other 1 tsp. cayenne and 1 tsp. chili powder.
Bring to boil then reduce heat and simmer about 10 minutes.
Once wings are done in the crock-pot, add to a greased baking sheet or pan.
Pour sauce over wings, turning to coat.
Cook for about 30 minutes or until crispy, turning once halfway through.
