0.5 oz cinnamon-clove infused simple syrup (1/4 cup water, ½ cup sugar, 2 cinnamon sticks, ½ tsp. whole cloves)
0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
4 oz apple cider
Instructions
Prepare simple syrup by adding water, cinnamon sticks, and cloves to a small saucepan. Bring to boil then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove cinnamon and cloves, add sugar, stir until dissolved, and simmer for 2-3 more minutes. Let cool completely.
Add simple syrup, lemon juice, and rum to a shaker with ice.
Shake and dump into a glass.
Top with apple cider.
Garnish with a cinnamon stick and some group cinnamon.
