Hellfire Chile Margarita

Published: Feb 22, 2020 by Laura Lee · This post may contain affiliate links · Leave a Comment

Today is.... National Margarita Day!! What a fantastic holiday. I have JUST the cocktail for you to celebrate with.

I'm using this special edition Estate Release Patron which normally I wouldn't mix (best for sipping alone), but it's a special occasion so why not?! Along with a little Grand Marnier, lime, jalapeno, Bittermens Hellfire Habenaro Shrub and Royal Rose Three Chiles Simple Syrup. If you haven't tried either of the last too I highly recommend! Royal Rose sent me a handful of their flavored syrups, and they're perfect for cocktails, mocktails, baking etc.! Pay attention to my instagram, because I might just be doing a giveaway with them this week! The Three Chiles syrup combines poblano, jalapeno and ancho chile peppers. It's got a great earthy, slightly spicy flavor. I've linked it below if you're interested!

I also threw this one in the smoker, because again why not?! You can see me make the whole thing on my instagram story/highlights!

I didn't make this one overly smokey. I just envisioned smoked peppers and wanted that flavor represented in this drink.

Try it out today! Cheers!

And if you're going all out with the Mexican theme (which I recommend you do) try my Mexican Pizza with this cocktail!
