Hot Toddy

Apparently National Hot Toddy Day was Friday which I just realized. I honestly forgot how much I love this warm, toasty, delicious drink. It's so easy to make and so perfect for the long, cold winter months. Especially this weekend which has been full of snow. The Hot Toddy originated in Ireland and Scotland which is why I use Jameson (also because Jameson is amazing).  Try one out tonight! You probably have all the ingredients already! Serves: 1
Ingredients
  • 1.5 oz whiskey/bourbon
  • 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 0.5 oz fresh orange juice
  • 1 tsp. honey
  • top with boiling water
  • lemon wheel and cinnamon stick to garnish
Instructions
  1. Bring water to boil on stove.
  2. Pour whiskey, lemon juice, orange juice and honey into a glass or mug.
  3. Fill with hot water. Stir.
  4. Garnish.
