Sage Advice

Published: Mar 4, 2018 by Laura Lee · This post may contain affiliate links · Leave a Comment

The last month has been a whirlwind! I must have a thing for Aquarians because my fiance and a ton of my friends were born in February. We had all the celebrations. Also I've been traveling back and forth to NYC a lot more for work. Apparently I pay taxes there now... does that mean I live in two states? Well this cocktail brings together two of my favorites. One from Forno in the Short North and one from NoMo Kitchen in NYC.

You will need gin, sage-infused simply syrup, lemon juice, aperol and strawberries. This tart and tangy drink packs a punch. You will be feeling fabulous after a few (and wise - hence the name). 🙂

**To make simple syrup add sugar and water to a small saucepan over high heat. Bring to boil and stir to dissolve. Add sage leaves. Simmer for 5 minutes. Allow to cool.**

Cheers!!
