Spicy American Cheeseburger

Happy almost 4th of July! Tonight in Columbus is Red, White & BOOM which is a huge firework display over the city. Before I have to go get ready for the festivities I wanted to share with you all a very American recipe perfect for any cookout or 4th of July party!

You will need ground chuck, American cheese (good quality from the deli - no Kraft singles plz) Worcestershire, hot sauce, butter, jalapeno, fresh parsley, cayenne, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt & pepper.

Mix together well.

Form patties and flatten. (Pictured: top right.) Grill over high heat for about 3 minutes per side. Add cheese and grill one more minute.

Brush your buns with butter and grill quickly just to form a little char. Top with lettuce, pickle, ketchup and mustard.

Serve with whatever you like but onion rings are pretty damn fire. Have an amazing holiday!
