French Onion Dip

Published: Jul 26, 2018 by Laura Lee · This post may contain affiliate links · Leave a Comment

My fiancé loves Heluva Good French Onion Dip. I have to admit it's pretty delish. However, I always like to challenge myself to come up with fresh homemade versions because a) they taste better and b) they're not nearly as bad for you (even if this is still packed full of cream cheese and sour cream).

This dip recipe is super easy. You'll start by caramelizing your onions for about 20 minutes in some butter and olive oil. Then combining them in a food processor with cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, celery seed, water, salt, pepper and a pinch of chili powder. Process to smooth then allow to chill in fridge until ready to serve (preferably with chips and veggies)! Enjoy!
